Based in Arlington, I help clients across Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Montgomery County, MD assemble furniture and get settled after a move. From a single item to a full apartment furniture order, send the complete list so I can plan the time and scope together.
Full Day Package — $750 Flat Rate
Best for large projects where you want one predictable day and one predictable price: move-ins, multiple rooms, full furniture orders, or a long list of home setup tasks. This blocks the day for your project and can run well into the evening when needed. Requires 50% deposit.
Furniture Assembly
Beds, dressers, desks, tables, shelving, and wardrobe systems from IKEA, Wayfair, West Elm, Williams-Sonoma, Target, Walmart, Amazon, and more. I can assemble a single item or work through a multi-room furniture order.
Furniture Repair
Wobbly doors, loose joints, stuck drawers, and similar practical fixes. If I can’t fix it, you pay $0.
Moving Help
DIY-level moving help with dollies. I can also rent and drive a U-Haul on request for the right job.
Disassembly & Reassembly
Take apart and rebuild furniture for a move, a room change, or a secondhand purchase. Send photos and item details so I can assess the condition and plan for any missing hardware.
Hauling
I use a 2003 Chevy Suburban for furniture, cardboard, and project-related trash. No hazardous items or general household waste.
Need the Suburban for hauling or transport? Mention it when booking — I often travel by Metro or moped and may not have the truck without advance notice.
Office & Government Setup
Furniture assembly and workspace setup for commercial and government settings. Federal registration through SAM.gov. UEID: P72CSHQSMPN7. CAGE: 22ZD2.
TV Mounting — Drywall Only
I mount TVs on drywall walls only. Send the TV size, mount details, and a photo of the wall so I can review the setup before booking. Plaster, brick, concrete, and ceiling mounts are outside my scope.
Light Home Work
Picture hanging on standard walls, small furniture fixes, basic IT setup, yard help, and other practical tasks. Include these in your project list and I’ll let you know what I can handle.

Turn the key to a furnished apartment
Moving to the DMV before you can be here in person? With deliveries and access arranged, I can assemble your furniture and break down and remove project boxes before you arrive. We’ll confirm the item list, building access, and what can be completed in the time available.
Multiple rooms, one project list
Beds and dressers for the bedrooms, a table for the dining area, and desks or shelving for a home office. Share the complete order so I can plan the work across rooms.
Loading & unloading help
If you need another set of hands loading or unloading a U-Haul, I can help with the physical work.
Light mounting
I can hang pictures and handle other straightforward mounting on standard walls.

For moves, I have a dolly and a Suburban and can help with loading, unloading, and smaller transport needs, but I am not a full-service moving company. I do not mount TVs or drill into concrete or plaster walls; for those projects I can point you toward a specialist.
Transparent and honest pricing.
My standard rate is $60/hr. Fixed quotes are available on request for projects with a clear scope. Have an assembly quote from IKEA, Wayfair, or another provider? Ask about price matching; matches are considered case by case and are not guaranteed.
Hourly Rate
The standard way I bill for most projects. Send the details first and I can estimate the time involved before you book.
Fixed Quote
If you prefer a promised total price, ask for a fixed quote. Once quoted, the agreed project scope stays at that price; additions are billed separately.
Full Day Package
Best value for a full day of furniture assembly, move-in setup, or a long project list. One flat price for the project day.
Have a flexible schedule? Save up to $20/hr.
Stack them: On a Flex Start appointment, the rate is $50/hr before 8pm and $40/hr for time worked from 8pm onward. Night Owl applies to the evening portion, not the entire appointment.
