The original instructions could not be found, so the project was rebuilt from the parts on-site using only a reference image and the hardware already available.

The original wood around the bedpost connection had failed. I removed the weakened material, rebuilt the attachment point with solid wood, trimmed and prepared the new surface, added a threaded connection, and reassembled the bed.
