Privacy Policy

Anderson Home Services is operated by Caleb Anderson. This policy explains how I handle information when you visit this website, inquire about a project, or become a client.

Information you provide

I receive the contact details, location or address, project descriptions, item links, photos, screenshots, instructions, and messages you choose to share. Please avoid sending payment-card details, passwords, or unrelated sensitive information through the form or messages.

Communication and project work

I use this information to respond, estimate and schedule work, coordinate access, complete projects, send invoices and payment reminders, and handle follow-up questions. Communication may be by text, WhatsApp, or email. Let me know your preferred contact method. I may save your details in Google Contacts or my phone's contacts to recognize you and make future communication easier; contacts may sync or be backed up through the accounts enabled on my devices. Saving your contact details is not permission to send marketing messages.

Forms, invoices, and payments

Tally hosts the project inquiry form and stores information and files submitted through it. You can contact me by text or email instead of using the form.

When I invoice through Square, I create a customer profile in my Square account using the details needed for the invoice. That profile and transaction history remain available for records and future invoicing. I do not manually create a Square profile just because you pay directly by cash or Venmo without a Square invoice.

Square also processes in-person card and tap-to-pay transactions. Depending on the payment information available, Square may automatically create or associate a customer profile and retain transaction information. Tap-to-pay should not be assumed to be anonymous. Square and Venmo handle payment information under their own privacy practices; the information visible to me depends on the service and payment method.

Bookkeeping and records

I use Google Sheets and Google Drive for business records, which may include customer names, general location, service dates, work performed, hours, amounts charged or paid, and payment status or method. These records help me track earnings, reconcile payments, and handle tax and other business matters.

Photos and project files

Photos and files help me estimate, complete, and document work. I will not use photos of your home or belongings in a public portfolio without permission.

Website services and technical information

Cloudflare hosts and helps secure the website. Google Fonts supplies the fonts, Google Maps supplies the map on the service-area page, and Tally supplies the inquiry form. These providers may receive technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, and the page requesting their services, when those features load.

This website does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or optional visitor analytics tags. Hosting and security providers may still process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. Embedded forms, maps, and other third-party services have their own privacy practices and controls.

Sharing and service providers

I do not sell your personal information. Information is processed by the providers used for the purposes described above, including Tally, Square, Venmo, Google, Cloudflare, and messaging or telecommunications providers. I may also share relevant records with professional advisers, insurers, or authorities when needed for bookkeeping, claims, legal obligations, or protecting rights and safety.

Retention and your choices

There is no single automatic deletion schedule for business records. I may retain contact details, correspondence, project records, and transaction records for ongoing customer service, future work, bookkeeping, tax, insurance, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business and legal needs. Some records may be retained indefinitely where an ongoing need or legal requirement justifies it, subject to applicable law.

You can contact me to ask about your information, request a correction, or request deletion. I will consider requests and applicable legal requirements, but may need to retain some records. Information held independently by a service provider is also subject to that provider's policies. You do not need to request exclusion from Square if you pay directly by cash or Venmo without a Square invoice; Square invoice and card-payment processing work as described above.
